Commonwealth Master’s Scholarship 2026: Overview
The Commonwealth Master’s Scholarship (Agency-Nominated) is one of three Master’s programs offered by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the UK (CSC). Funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), the scholarship enables talented individuals from low- and middle-income Commonwealth countries to pursue fully funded Master’s studies at UK universities.
The program focuses on sustainable development, leadership, and international collaboration, empowering recipients to return home as leaders, innovators, and changemakers.
Commonwealth Master’s Scholarship 2026: Eligibility
Applicants must:

Be a citizen, refugee, or British Protected Person from an eligible Commonwealth country.

Be permanently resident in an eligible Commonwealth country.

Be ready to begin studies in the UK by September/October 2026.

Hold a first degree of at least upper second-class (2:1), or a lower second-class degree plus a relevant postgraduate qualification (usually a Master’s).

Be unable to afford UK study without the scholarship.
