    • Least Developed Country.
    • Low Income Country.
    • Lower Middle Income Country.
      according to the OECD DAC list.
  • Demonstrate strong academic ability and interest in areas related to plant health.

Applicants will be assessed based on factors including:

  • Academic achievements.
  • Knowledge or experience in molecular biology, genetics, plant health, data science, statistics, laboratory skills, and independent research.

Students from other countries may also be considered for the David Sainsbury International 50% Fee Scholarship.

Scholarship Benefits

The David Sainsbury Full MSc Scholarship can cover significant study and living expenses, including:

  • Full tuition fees (up to £36,000 for the 2026/27 academic year).
  • Maintenance grant to support living costs.
  • Additional travel support of up to £4,000 (subject to eligible travel receipts).

The 50% Fee Scholarship provides:

  • Up to 50% contribution toward tuition fees for eligible applicants.
