FCM Foundation Board Scholarship 2025: Overview

The FCM Foundation Board Scholarship (FCM FBS) is an annual academic support initiative designed exclusively for female Muslim undergraduates in Nigeria. The program targets students in their 200 or 300 level at selected public universities. Alongside one-time financial assistance, beneficiaries receive exclusive mentorship sessions and continuous post-award guidance, helping them build towards first-class academic excellence and future opportunities in higher education.

FCM Foundation Board Scholarship 2025: Eligibility

Applicants must:

• Be a female Muslim undergraduate in 200 or 300 level

• Be enrolled in one of the eligible universities (see list below)

• Maintain a minimum CGPA of 4.0/5.0 (or equivalent)

• Be willing to attend the in-person mentorship session in Lagos

Application Requirements

Applicants must submit the following documents:

1. Student Identity Card (from institution)

2. Reference Letter from a reputable Islamic Organization (not student groups) – must be on official letterhead and addressed to:
   The Executive Director, First Class Muslim Foundation, Lagos, Nigeria

3. Current Result Slip showing CGPA, signed and stamped by HOD

4. Personal Statement (max 300 words)

   • Format: Century Gothic, size 12, spacing 1.5, PDF format, full name at top

   • Must explain why you should be considered

   • No AI-generated or plagiarized content (AI detection >20% leads to disqualification)

Selection Criteria

• Strong academic performance (minimum CGPA 4.0/5.0)

• Demonstrated commitment to Islamic values and leadership potential

• Quality and authenticity of personal statement and reference letter

• Willingness to engage in mentorship and future development opportunities

• Application Closes: 10 September 2025

• Submit applications online with all required documents uploaded

• Shortlisted candidates will be invited for the mentorship session in Lagos
