The University is offering a range of postgraduate scholarships for African applicants with International fee status for the 2025/26 academic year. These awards are designed to ease financial pressure and encourage outstanding students from Africa to pursue advanced degrees.
Fully Funded & Partial Postgraduate Scholarships 2025: Eligibility
Applicants must:

Be classified as an International fee status (non-UK national, residing in a non-UK country).

Have received an offer of admission for one of the eligible postgraduate courses.

Meet specific criteria depending on the scholarship category.
Benefits
Scholarship values include:

£2,500 – First-year support for students domiciled in Africa.

£3,000 – Alumni scholarship.

£3,000 bursary – For applicants to the Islamic Finance course.

£4,000 per year – For students domiciled in Africa.

£5,000 per year – For applicants with a First-Class degree (or equivalent).

£6,000 bursary – For Islamic Finance applicants who also hold a First-Class degree.
