Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at the University of Cambridge 2025/2026: Overview
The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at the University of Cambridge is now open for applications for the 2025/26 academic year. The program aims to support talented African students who are committed to driving climate resilience and sustainable development in Africa.
It provides fully funded scholarships for one-year Master’s courses at Cambridge, covering tuition, living costs, and additional study-related expenses.
Eligibility
Applicants must:

Be citizens of an African country.

Be resident in Africa, except if temporarily abroad for work/study, or if displaced/refugee.

Be applying for a Master’s program of up to one year at the University of Cambridge.

Meet the academic entry requirements of their chosen course.
Benefits
Scholars receive:

Coverage of visa fees, International Health Surcharge, and travel costs.
Application Requirements
Applicants must:
