The President’s PhD Scholarships at Imperial College London offer exceptional students the opportunity to pursue a fully funded PhD at one of the world’s leading research universities. The scholarship is open to high-achieving undergraduates or Master’s students with a passion for advanced research. Eligibility
Applicants must:

Hold or expect to achieve a first-class undergraduate or integrated Master’s degree, or a distinction in a standalone Master’s.

Demonstrate strong research potential and academic excellence.

Apply for a new PhD (current Imperial PhD students are not eligible).

Be from any nationality (no restrictions).

Have an Imperial supervisor who has agreed to oversee their project before applying.
Candidates with non-traditional academic or career paths who show exceptional research promise are also encouraged to apply.
Benefits
Each of the 50 available scholarships provides:

Full tuition fee coverage for 3.5 years.

Annual stipend of £26,500 (2026–27 rate) for living expenses.

Consumables fund of £2,000 per year for the first three years.
