Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, you must:

• Be from an eligible country (Nigeria included )
• Be accepted into an eligible programme
• Have or expect a First Class degree (or equivalent)
• Not already have a Master’s degree (priority given)
• Show strong intent to impact your home country

Selection Criteria (VERY IMPORTANT)

You are judged mainly on:

1. Academic Merit

• Equivalent of UK First Class
• Strong transcripts

2. Personal Statement (this is where people fail)

You must answer:

• Why this programme at Edinburgh?
• How it helps your career?
• How you’ll impact your country/community?
