Step 1: Apply to a Master’s Programme

1. Before applying for a scholarship, you must submit an online application to at least one of Chalmers’ Master’s programmes via universityadmissions.se.

2. Submit all required documentation verifying your eligibility.

3. Pay the application fee to ensure your scholarship application will be considered.

4. After submission, you’ll receive an 8-digit application number, which is required for the scholarship portal.

Step 2: Rank Your Master’s Programmes

• You can apply to up to four Master’s programmes, but your preferred Chalmers programme should be ranked #1.

• The ranking is important, as scholarships are assessed based on the priority of programmes.

Step 3: Read Scholarship Requirements

• Each scholarship may have specific criteria. Make sure you read all requirements carefully before applying.

• Only applicants meeting the eligibility for the Master’s programme will be considered.

Step 4: Apply via Chalmers Scholarship Portal

1. Use the official Chalmers scholarship portal here.

2. Use the same email you used for your universityadmissions.se account.

3. Enter your 8-digit application number from universityadmissions.se.

4. Apply for multiple scholarships if you meet the eligibility criteria.

5. You will receive a verification code by email to confirm your application. Check your junk folder if you don’t see it.

6. You can edit your scholarship application up until the application deadline. After the deadline, no changes are possible.

Important Terms

• Your scholarship application will not be considered if by the deadline:

  • You have not paid the application fee for your Master’s programme.

  • You have not uploaded all required documents on universityadmissions.se.

• Chalmers scholarships are free to apply for – never pay any other fee or follow third-party links.
