Job Title: Business Analyst/Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business needs related to tax processes;
• Analyze existing tax workflows and systems to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement;
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams;
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement tax technology solutions (e.g., ERP systems, tax compliance software, reporting tools, AI);
• Configure and customize tax technology platforms to align with business needs;
• Lead or support tax technology projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, IT, or related field;
• Experience in tax processes, systems, or technology (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Vertex, Avalara);
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies;
• Familiarity with tax compliance requirements and regulations;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
• Project management experience with a focus on tax or finance technology projects.

• Knowledge of SQL, data analytics, or programming languages such as Python;
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or business analysis (e.g., CBAP);
• Experience with robotic process automation (RPA) tools / AI and methodologies.
