Job Overview

The Business Development Analyst will provide required Support to the Business Development Team to drive and achieve the organization’s Revenue target. The individual in this position will support Adelia Business Objectives through Desktop Research, Digital Marketing and Sales generation.

This role is an opportunity to learn more about Business Development and develop Sales competencies while making meaningful contributions to the growth of Aldelia.

Responsibilities

  1. Perform desktop research to support BD Lead identification and Lead Generation KPIs.
  2. Perform research on strategies to penetrate the business portfolio in the country
  3. Perform desktop research on Competition activities (Tenders).
  4. Identification of important industry-focused events and conferences.
  5. Job Order Form management
  6. Pricing Form Management
  7. Contract Instruction Form Management
  8. Service Order Management
  9. Creating commercial offers
  10. CRM Data Entry and Management (Hubspot)
  11. Source information regarding events (networking, forums, etc.)
  12. Schedule events and conferences
  13. Assisting with reports and data analysis.
  14. Collect data on consumers, competitors and marketplace and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations.
  15. Digital Marketing: drive sales and marketing via relevant Information Technology avenues.
  16. Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.

Person Specification

Preferred Experience and Education

  • 1-2 Years experience in business development; in a similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Previous experience in a recruitment agency is an added advantage
  • Good knowledge of HR services companies
  • Proven experience in business development support
  • Proven market research analysis experience
  • Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Search engines, web analytics and business research tools acumen
  • Familiarity with CRM programs
  • Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys etc)
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking

Language Requirement

  • Proficiency in English is required.

Skills

  • Demonstrate high level of interpersonal, writing skills, presentation and effective communication skills.
  • Must have high knowledge of excel reporting, forecasting, business tools usage and Microsoft office.
  • Demonstrate high level of proficiency in pricing, quotation and proposal drafting.
  • Can identify, allocate and monitor resources effectively and efficiently.
  • Can consistently meet competing demands through effective prioritising in a result oriented and client-focused environment.
  • Impeccable negotiation skills and a calculative risk taker.
  • Demonstrates emotional intelligence, leadership and soft skills attributes.
  • Networking, Persuasion, Prospecting, Public Speaking, Research, Writing, Closing Skills, Identification of Customer Needs and Challenges, Territory Management, Market Knowledge and Meeting Sales Goals.
  • Experience in the use of CRM, and clients/candidates databases.
