The Role:
This position requires a deep understanding of the Nigerian public sector landscape, strong networking abilities, and exceptional communication skills. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships, and developing comprehensive strategies to meet organizational objectives.
Location:
• FCT Abuja.
What we are looking for :
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related roles within the Nigerian public sector.
• In-depth knowledge of the Nigerian public sector landscape, including government policies, procurement processes, and key decision-makers.
• At least 5 years working experience in the sector.
• Strong network of contacts within government agencies and related entities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential business opportunities within the Nigerian public sector.
• Develop and implement business development strategies, plans, and initiatives tailored specifically to the public sector.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers within government agencies and related organizations.
• Monitor the competitive landscape, staying up-to-date on industry trends, policies, and regulations that may impact business opportunities.
• Attend industry events, conferences, and seminars to represent the company and promote its services to prospective clients.
• Prepare and deliver compelling pitches and presentations to key stakeholders, showcasing the value and benefits of our products and services.
• Negotiate and close business deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements for all parties involved.
