JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job purpose: A store keeper is responsible for all stock, staff management, and planning promotional campaigns for the store. He/she must be able to multitask and perform under pressure while remaining professional with customers.

The storekeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and managing the flow of goods within the company’s storage facilities. He/she ensures efficient and organized storage operations to support the company’s overall operations.

JOB RESPONSIBSILITIES

  • Receive, upload and shelf all supplies
  • Inspect deliveries for discrepancy or damage
  • Report damaged inventories for record-keeping and reimbursement
  • Collaborate with procurement and accounting departments to resolve any discrepancies in stock records or invoicing.
  • Coordinate and handle freight and movement of equipment
  • Cross-verify the monthly report at the end of each month
  • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business ManagementSupply chain management or a related field
  • Prior experience in retail, supply chain and logistics.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, excel etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Must be organized and punctual.
