Job Title: Compliance Auditor

From Intake to Outcomes, CareMetx is dedicated to supporting the patient journey by providing hub services, innovative technology, and decision-making data to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device innovators.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As the Compliance Auditor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity, efficiency, and compliance of our operations at CareMetx. You will be responsible for developing and implementing robust audit strategies to assess the effectiveness of CareMetx’s controls, risk management processes, and compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute an annual internal risk-based audit plan that aligns with the strategic objectives of the company.
  • Conduct audits across various departments and functions, including finance, operations, IT and human resources.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of controls and identify opportunities for improvement to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Communicate audit findings, recommendations, and corrective action plans to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions and monitor the resolution of audit findings.
  • Stay abreast of emerging risks, regulatory changes, and industry best practices to continually enhance the internal audit function.
  • Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement within the organization.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or other relevant certifications preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in internal audit, preferably in the healthcare industry.

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong understanding of control frameworks, risk management principles, and auditing standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in audit software, data analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
