Job Title: Creative Writer

We are seeking a talented and passionate Writer to join our dynamic team. As a Writer at Orodata Science, you will play a crucial role in crafting compelling narratives that showcase our work, highlight the insights derived from our CheckMyPHC tool, and promote our organization’s mission and impact. You will be responsible for creating unique promotional stories, insightful reports, and engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and write compelling promotional stories that showcase Orodata Science’s projects, impact, and expertise. These stories will be used across various platforms, including our website, social media, newsletters, and marketing materials.
• Translate complex data insights from our CheckMyPHC tool into clear, concise, and engaging narratives for a variety of audiences, including the general public, policymakers, and researchers.
• Conduct thorough research and interviews to gather information and ensure the accuracy and credibility of all written materials.
• Collaborate with the communications team to develop content strategies and ensure alignment with organizational messaging.
• Write and edit high-quality reports, including project reports, impact reports, and annual reports, that effectively communicate our findings and achievements.
• Adapt writing style and tone to suit different platforms and audiences.
• Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Maintain a strong understanding of Orodata Science’s mission, values, and programs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field.
• Proven experience (2+ years preferred) as a writer, preferably in the non-profit, technology, or data-driven sector.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with a strong command of grammar and style.
• Ability to translate complex information into clear, concise, and engaging narratives.
• Experience in report writing and creating promotional content.
• Strong research and interviewing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with data visualization and data storytelling is a plus.
• Passion for social impact and data-driven solutions.
