Job Description:
As the Facility Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, cleanliness, and overall functioning of our school facility. Your primary duties will include:

1. Supervising a team of custodial staff and ensuring efficient workflow.
2. Developing and implementing a preventive maintenance plan to keep the facility in top condition.
3. Managing budgets for facility maintenance.
4. Coordinating with various stakeholders, including faculty, staff, and external contractors, for repair and maintenance tasks.
5. Implementing safety measures and emergency protocols to ensure the well-being of all occupants.
6. Conducting regular inspections and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
7. Keeping records of all maintenance activities, work orders, and repairs.

Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

– A related Bachelor’s degree
– Proven experience as a Facility Manager or similar role.
– Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
– Excellent knowledge of maintenance and facility management best practices.
– Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.
– The ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and meet deadlines.
– Proficient in using computer and facility management systems.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
