Full Stack Developer (PHP + Angular) at Altamira, Remote

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer (PHP & Angular) to join our team to modernize and enhance existing systems. This role is critical for ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability across our architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve and modernize an existing system to ensure high performance and scalability.
• Analyze current system architecture and identify areas for enhancement and optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and maintainable solutions.
• Implement best practices for development, testing, and deployment.

Requirements

• Solid knowledge of OOP, design patterns, development principles, and best practices.
• Strong proficiency in PHP 7.x+.
• Experience working with the Yii2 framework.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and experience converting designs into responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly Angular (version 7.x).
• Experience working with Elasticsearch.
• Understanding of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS) and general cloud best practices.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitLab).
• Strong knowledge of database design and optimization (MySQL, MariaDB).
• Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks (PHPUnit, Codeception).
• Excellent analytical skills to diagnose and resolve system issues effectively.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to lead initiatives and drive solutions.
• Strong communication skills with at least B2 English for global team collaboration.
• Basic knowledge and hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor).
