Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Sales Account Lead to join our team. As an IT Sales Account Lead, you will be responsible for managing and growing key client accounts, driving sales revenue, and providing leadership to the sales team. Your role will involve building strong client relationships, identifying opportunities, and overseeing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and the development of strategic account plans are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their business objectives and aligning solutions to meet their needs.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and drive upselling and cross-selling initiatives.
  • Lead the sales team, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to maximize sales revenue and market share.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and customer support, to deliver comprehensive solutions and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Conduct sales presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations with clients.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and competitive landscape to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and prepare reports for management.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in IT sales or account management, with a focus on driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of IT solutions, technology trends, and industry dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and nurture relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
  • Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strategic mindset and ability to develop and execute effective account plans.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field is preferred.
