Job Summary: Sales and Marketing Representative (Poultry Farm)
As a Sales and Marketing Representative for our poultry farm, your primary responsibility will be to promote and sell our farm’s high-quality eggs to egg sellers and customers within Abuja, FCT, Nigeria. Your main goal will be to achieve a weekly target of selling a minimum of 80 crates of eggs per day, with an overall target of 500 crates per week. You will have the flexibility to work remotely, visiting the farm only once a week.
Role Description:
- Identify and approach potential egg sellers and customers in markets and other locations within Abuja to promote and sell our farm’s eggs.
- Present the benefits of our eggs to potential customers, highlighting their quality, freshness, and nutritional value.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with egg sellers and customers, providing excellent customer service to ensure repeat business.
- Utilize effective marketing and sales strategies to achieve the weekly target of selling a minimum of 80 crates per day.
- Work proactively to surpass the weekly target, and if the target of 500 crates is met before the week ends, you can take the remaining days off and rest until the following week.
- Collaborate with the farm’s management team to develop innovative approaches and strategies to drive egg sales and increase customer base.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and areas for expansion.
- Provide feedback to the farm management on market trends, customer preferences, and competitors’ activities.
- Handle any customer inquiries or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Complete any additional tasks assigned by the farm management that will contribute to increased egg sales and overall business success.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales role, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Fluent in English, Pidgin, and Hausa, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A graduate in any business-related course or possessing a certificate in a business or leadership-related course.
- Resides in Abuja, FCT, Nigeria, with a good understanding of the local market and customer dynamics.
- Highly motivated, hardworking, and honest, with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
- Possesses effective marketing and sales strategies to drive sales and grow the customer base.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and tasks to support the growth of the farm’s egg sales.
Success in the Position:
- Consistently achieving or surpassing the weekly target of selling a minimum of 80 crates of eggs per day, contributing to the overall target of 500 crates per week.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with egg sellers and customers, resulting in repeat business and increased customer loyalty.
- Providing valuable market insights and feedback to the farm management, leading to informed business decisions and strategies.
- Implementing effective marketing and sales techniques that drive egg sales and expand the farm’s customer base.
- Demonstrating honesty, hard work, and professionalism in all interactions, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
