Performance Manager at Welcome Tomorrow, Lagos

We are looking for a highly technical, client-facing Senior Performance Manager who understands growth as a holistic discipline: not just media buying, but the full ecosystem of paid & organic levers that drive measurable business outcomes.

You will be the architect of multi-region paid media strategies across mobile app and web channels, the primary strategic adviser for large customers, and the internal mentor for our junior media buyers.

⚠️ Important: for this role, you MUST have extensive experience working with mobile apps and master user acquisition and user retention for apps.

Your Mission

  • Strategic Growth Leadership: Act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders (CMOs, CEOs) to drive account strategy across multiple regions. Identify and leverage relevant pillars (paid media, organic media, retention strategies) to achieve specific business outcomes. Distil core business goals into clear, actionable plans communicated to our clients.
  • Multi-Channel Campaign Management: Design and execute campaigns across mobile app and web, going beyond basic Google and Meta to include emerging channels, programmatic, and local networks. Optimise for high-value, deep-funnel events (in-app purchases, loan approvals, subscription renewals).
  • Reporting Mastery: Confidently lead QBRs, translating analytics in to powerful business insights and strategic plans to drive success based on customer business KPIs. Enhancing reporting templates and ensuring our teams use a standard, proof-tested reporting methodology across all customers.
  • Account Leadership: Manage cross-functional teams (analytics, paid media, SEO, creative) with relentless follow-through, making sure all parts come together and finding solutions when you hit blockers. Take full accountability for team execution and client results.
  • Team Upskilling: Actively supporting our team of Media Buyers, setting growth milestones and supporting the team to grow their skills by continuously raising the bar. Optimising our internal standards based on your learnings to upskill the team at scale.

Qualifications

You have:

  • 3–5 years of advanced performance marketing experience with strong emphasis on mobile app growth and web-based acquisition, including full-funnel optimisation (from awareness, to long term retention)
  • Advanced measurement expertise (AppsFlyer, Adjust, Firebase, Meta SDK) with ability to prove deep-funnel ROI, plus expert-level on Google Tag Manager/GA4 to diagnose web tracking issues autonomously.
  • Expert-level implementation and optimisation across all major platforms (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, programmatic networks such as SA360 and DV360, local channels).
  • Analytics fluency with demonstrable ability to analyse performance data, and turn it into business insights, clear reports and actionable roadmaps involving multiple teams.
  • Regional expertise scaling accounts across diverse African countries, with deep understanding of local compliance, connectivity, and consumer behaviour.
  • Full project management capacity with the ability to follow-through relentlessly and an excellent organisation. You don’t accept blockers as dead ends; you find ways through them and know how to pull levers close to multiple stakeholders to make a project succeed.

Benefits

  • A human adventure in an ambitious and fast-growing company
  • Joining a team of top talents, localising advanced growth marketing techniques for emerging markets
  • Embarking on a pleasant, stimulating and challenging environment
