Job Title: PHP Developer
We are looking for a PHP Developer with experience in Laravel, Drupal, and full-stack web development. The ideal candidate will work on developing, maintaining, and optimizing web applications while gaining exposure to modern frameworks and best practices. This role is perfect for someone looking to expand their expertise in PHP-based CMS (Drupal), backend development, and API integrations.
- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP, Laravel, and Drupal.
- Build and optimize custom modules and themes in Drupal.
- Work on RESTful API development and integrations.
- Assist in database design, performance tuning, and query optimization using MySQL.
- Implement frontend enhancements using JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, work closely with senior developers, and contribute to team discussions.
- Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to create a seamless user experience.
- Maintain version control and CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitHub, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for better performance and security.
- Assist in content migrations for Drupal sites (e.g., from Drupal 7 to 9/10).
Requirements
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience with PHP, Laravel, and Drupal (Drupal 7/8/9/10).
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming (OOP) and MVC frameworks.
- Experience working with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and writing efficient database queries.
- Basic understanding of Drupal theming, module development, and content management.
- Good understanding of frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, authentication methods (JWT, OAuth), and third-party API integrations.
- Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket).
- Knowledge of server-side caching mechanisms (Redis, Varnish) is a plus.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to ReactJS, VueJS, or AngularJS for frontend development.
- Basic knowledge of AWS, Docker, or DevOps tools.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience working with Drupal Commerce or custom web applications.
