mdf commerce Inc. is an international team of approximately 650 experts who develop a broad set of SaaS solutions to optimize and accelerate commercial interactions of its B2B and B2G customers.

Our team at ASC is currently looking for an Intern in software quality assurance for an 8-month paid internship starting around September 2023. Reporting to the Team Leader, QA, you will have the opportunity to work on all aspects of testing in the eprocurement sector.

What will your main responsibilities look like? 

In this role, you will be led to:

• Verification of custom CLM applications following requirements documents;
• Verification of functionality based on requirements, creating test data and manually verifying the functionality meets the requirements;
• Find and create clear, concise defects in the JIRA bug-tracking application which are easily reproducible;
• Develop and maintain a solid understanding of the needs of our customers;
• Following an agile development process, participate in department team meetings to provide high-level estimates, feedback and input on the testing effort;
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure high-quality applications are delivered to the customer by due dates.

What elements of your professional background will be necessary and useful in this role?

• Knowledge of Web technologies, particularly HTML, XML, XSL, XSLT and HTTP;
• Familiarity with JavaScript, jQuery, Java or equivalent object-oriented language;
• Knowledge of database principles and ability to execute scripts;
• Ability to use tools such as MS Teams and MS Office applications, SharePoint, JIRA, Confluence, Git, Postman, and various internet browsers.
