Job Title: QA Automation

We are looking for a QA Automation candidate responsible for ensuring software quality through test implementation and automation. Their goal is to detect defects early and integrate quality control processes into the software development cycle.

Functions:

• Analyze the requirements of medium-complexity, high-impact projects.
• Estimate the effort required to implement automated tests.
• Design and develop an automated testing plan based on requirements.
• Implement and maintain automation frameworks for functional and non-functional testing.
• Develop and execute load and stress tests with specialized tools.
• Ensure automated test coverage is updated and maintained in line with system changes.
• Implement and manage automated test execution in CI/CD environments.
• Run manual tests when necessary and validate the automation of test cases.
• Verify test results and generate detailed reports on their execution (e.g., defects, project status, test coverage, code analysis, and design).
• Document lessons learned and best practices in test automation.
• Design testing strategies combining manual and automated testing.
• Create technical documentation for automated testing, including scripts, execution methods, and coverage strategies.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in QA.
• Experience in test automation using frameworks such as Appium, WebdriverIO, Cypress, among others.
• Knowledge of object-oriented, functional, procedural and asynchronous programming.
• Understanding of software engineering processes, development cycle, and quality control.
• Experience in unit, integration, system, and regression testing.
• Knowledge of performance, load, stress, and API testing.
• Experience in designing and developing automated tests.
• Ability to document tests, including test cases, design diagrams, and README.md.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies such as SCRUM and Kanban.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
• Basic knowledge of cloud computing (AWS).

Desirable experience:

• Handling continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI or Travis.
• Using containers and virtualization with Docker and Kubernetes.
