Job Title: React Native Engineer
Our customer is an innovative company that utilizes state-of-the-art technology to assist with caring for elderly people. By using predictive algorithms, AI, and IoT home devices, the ecosystem creates an interactive tool for the caring services to know how to help each elderly person.
Your responsibilities on the project will be:
- Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native
- Navigate and improve both well-written and technical debt-ridden codebases
- Implement and suggest improvements based on OOP patterns and best practices
- Collaborate with technical and managerial stakeholders
- Provide proactive consultancy, offering ideas and suggestions for
improvements - Identify edge cases, gaps, and potential issues in implementations
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high code quality
standards - Experience with Open Source
You can be part of the following team:
4 Full-stack developers, 2 QA, 2 DevOps, Tech lead, CTO
Tools we use: Jira, Confluence, Git, Figma
Our requirements to you:
- 4+ years of experience in mobile application development.
- Strong hands-on expertise with React Native and TypeScript.
- Solid experience with React.js for building companion web apps or embedded views.
- Practical knowledge of SQS or Kafka for handling messaging, events, or background processing.
- Working with NoSQL and analytics databases such as Firebase, DynamoDB, or BigQuery.
- Strong understanding of app performance, architecture, and optimization for iOS/Android.
- Active participation in code reviews and commitment to high coding standards.
- Confident working with REST/GraphQL APIs and handling offline scenarios.
- Excellent communication skills, team collaboration, and a proactive attitude.
