The Business Risk & Performance Manager is responsible for supporting the entire business with all aspects of Risk and Performance Management and Measurement. Incumbent is responsible for planning and execution of compliance, financial, and operational audits and special projects. The Job owner regularly interacts with mid-to-senior level management to discuss issues and recommend business improvement practices among other deliverables.

Responsibilities:

The role reports directly to the CEO and will be based in Lagos.

• Accountable for the performance of group end-to-end processes, as well as joint business planning and execution that maximizes achievement of near-term business objectives and long-term strategic imperatives.
• Contributing strategic and operational drivers to streamline sales and logistics operations, with final accountability to achieve sales, market share and profitability objectives.
• Through collaboration across functions, build strong partnership with the business and unwavering performance leadership, drive capability development and execution of specific improvement efforts to realize substantial gains in quality, delivery and cost.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in relevant or similar capacity
• Very Strong organization, leadership and team management capability
• Passionate, persistent with very strong energy and drive for results
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Degree or Higher Diploma or Higher qualifications. Candidates may also possess professional accountancy qualification, while Audit and Risk management exposures are very strong advantages.
