Sales Business Data Analyst at Renmoney, Lagos, Nigeria

We are looking for a Sales Business Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across the Sales function. The role will be responsible for analyzing sales performance, identifying trends and opportunities, developing insightful reports and dashboards, and providing actionable recommendations to improve sales productivity, revenue, customer acquisition, and overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze sales performance across products, regions, channels, teams, and individual sales representatives.
• Develop and maintain regular sales reports, dashboards, and performance trackers.
• Monitor key sales KPIs, including target achievement, productivity, portfolio growth, revenue, and customer acquisition.
• Identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities within the sales funnel and recommend appropriate actions.
• Provide insights to support sales forecasting, target setting, resource allocation, and workforce planning.
• Analyze sales pipeline data to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
• Track performance against sales targets and provide regular reports to Sales leadership and other stakeholders.
• Develop automated reporting solutions to improve the efficiency and accuracy of sales reporting.
• Work with relevant teams to ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across sales reports and systems.
• Analyze the effectiveness of sales initiatives, campaigns, incentives, and other performance interventions.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to improve sales productivity and overall commercial performance.

• 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, sales analytics, commercial analytics, or a related role.
• Demonstrable experience analyzing sales or commercial data.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Power BI or other data visualization/BI tools.
• Strong knowledge of data analysis and reporting techniques.
• Experience working with large datasets and translating data into actionable business insights.
• Good understanding of sales processes, KPIs, and performance measurement.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Preferred

• Experience within Financial Services, Fintech, Banking, Lending, or other sales-driven environments.
• Experience working with CRM or sales management systems.
• Strong proficiency in SQL
• Experience automating recurring reports and dashboards.
• Experience supporting sales forecasting and incentive/performance analysis.
