Sales Lead

Migo is an embedded lending platform that enables companies to extend credit to consumers and small businesses in their own apps. Migo builds proprietary ML algorithms to assess credit risk using the company’s data then automates credit facilities via cutting-edge cloud infrastructure, simplifying the complex world of lending with a simple API. Migo also expands economic access by enabling credit for populations ignored by traditional credit bureaus, in many cases providing life-changing opportunities to lower-income customers. Migo is headquartered in San Francisco and currently operates in Nigeria and Brazil.
What you will do:
As a Sales Specialist, you will report to the Head of Sales and will provide strategic and analytical support for the sales team. The role will contribute to sales planning, reporting, and analysis, including pipeline analyses and performance reviews, to shape decision-making. You must be able to use knowledge of data and trends to identify new sales opportunities for the company. This position can be worked remotely from anywhere in Nigeria!

Your responsibilities will be:

    • Analyzing sales data to provide actionable insights, strategic perspectives, and recommendations to guide the sales team.
    • Support team lead to build detailed forecasts, monitor and evaluate sales performance, and understand variances to drive strategy
    • Gain deep knowledge and understanding of Migo’s products, customer segments, and business performance
    • Help define metrics and leading indicators of sales performance and partner with the Data science team to develop tools and dashboards to make these metrics widely accessible
    • Support the development of business cases for new service offerings or customized product requirements by customers.
    • Develop proposals and participate in meetings with clients and partners
    • Understand industry-specific trends, new developments, products, and landscapes.
    • Maintain personal networks, participate in professional organizations, attend conferences and industry events, and develop other means of generating interest from potential clients.
    • Utilizing a CRM platform to evaluate leads and track sales and revenue growth

We’re looking for someone who has:

    • Experience in Sales analysis, business development analysis, investment banking, strategy, or management consulting
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
    • Experience with Analytical software (Sigma or other BI tools)
    • Strong research and data analysis skills
    • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
    • Business acumen – an understanding of the product offering for a business and the services provided to customers
