About the Role:

As the  Senior Data Scientist at TeamSense, you will drive analytics, insights and improve TeamSense products. You will work closely with the Heads of Product and Engineering and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers on a wide range of problems. You will bring scientific rigor to our product and new feature ideation; You will co-pilot along with our Head of Product and lay the foundation for our data insights engine and framework.

Requirements:

Minimum qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics) or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of work experience, including expertise with statistical data analysis such as linear models, multivariate analysis, sampling method etc
  • Experience with statistical software (e.g., R, Python, MATLAB) and database languages (e.g., SQL)
  • Experience with Snowflake, Sigma
  • Familiarity with visualization libraries (opensource)
  • Experience articulating and translating business questions and using statistical techniques to arrive at an answer using available data.
  • Experience extrapolating new questions and insights using available data
  • Experience presenting findings via visualizations to multidisciplinary leadership team (including Board of Directors).
  • Demonstrated leadership and self-direction.
  • Demonstrated skills in selecting the right statistical tools given a data analysis problem.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Bonus qualifications:

  • PhD degree in a quantitative discipline.
  • Prior experience with Machine learning and AI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand, analyze and influence TeamSense data structures to evolve TeamSense Analytics, Insights and Reporting.
  • Work with growing and complex data set(s)
  • Conduct analysis that includes data gathering and requirements specification, processing, analysis and presentations.
  • Build and prototype analysis pipelines and insights.
  • Solve non-routine analysis problems for cross-functional stakeholders (both internal and customer-driven), applying appropriate analytical methods as needed.
  • Research and develop analysis and insights to not only improve TeamSense Products but also discover new insights from existing data
  • Advocate changes for product development based on findings from data analysis

Base Salary Range: $160,000-$170,000
