Software Engineer

We are using deep learning trained artificial intelligence (AI) to handle the tasks of brokers and find the right mix of policies to complete an individual’s coverage. We are developing the biggest Insurtech services in Nigeria. We are hiring a Software Engineer (android operations).

We maximise the business’s operations of our clients with innovative and trusted merchant services, payment processing services and solutions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED FOR THE JOB)

• Matric certificate with relevant tertiary qualification

• 3+ years of experience in Android mobile application development

• Knowledge of, and experience in mobile frameworks and technologies such as:

o Kotlin/Java

o Android Studio

o Spring Framework

o Containerisation technologies e.g., Kubernetes, Docker

o CI/CD Tools e.g., Jenkins, AWS Code Commit

o AWS (preferred) or another cloud provider such as Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform

o IaC technologies e.g., Terraform/Cloudformation

o Collaboration tool e.g., Confluence, Jira, Microsoft Teams, Slack

• Familiarity with architecture styles such as Microservice and Serverless architectures

• Critical thinking, root cause identification skills and attention to detail

• Ability to learn new technologies quickly

• Good communications skills and a team player

• Comfortable with pair programming

• Possess commercial and business awareness
