The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) Local Postgraduate Scholarship is part of the commission’s ongoing efforts to develop human capacity in the Niger Delta region. This fully-funded scholarship aims to prepare qualified graduates for active involvement in Nigeria’s Local Content Programme, boost global competitiveness, and support academic excellence in key fields.

NDDC Local Postgraduate (Master’s Degree) Scholarships 2025/2026: Eligibility Criteria

• Must be an indigene of the Niger Delta region

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in one of the listed disciplines

• Must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC)

• Must have gained admission into a recognized local postgraduate institution (Master’s level)

Documents Required

• NYSC discharge certificate

• Bachelor’s degree certificate

• Admission letter for postgraduate study

• Local Government Identification letter

• Passport photograph
