Newcastle University Business Excellence Scholarship 2025 Overview

Newcastle University Business School is offering the Business Excellence Scholarship to reward high-calibre students commencing full-time postgraduate taught (PGT) studies in September 2025. The scholarship aims to support outstanding individuals and promote diversity within the PGT student body.

Newcastle University Business Excellence Scholarship 2025 Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:

• Hold an offer of admission for a 2025 entry into an eligible Business School postgraduate taught program.

• Achieve or hold at least a UK 2:1 Honours Degree or international equivalent.

• Provide an English language qualification of IELTS 7.0 overall (with no subscore below 6.0) if English is not your first language.

• Be domiciled in any country (international and UK students are eligible), but priority is given to underrepresented groups in the PGT cohort.

• £10,000 tuition fee discount

• Five (5) awards available

• Valid for one year of study only

Newcastle University Business Excellence Scholarship 2025: Application Requirements

• No separate scholarship application is needed.

• Eligible candidates are automatically considered during the academic course application.

• Evaluation is based on:

  • Academic achievement

  • English language score

  • Quality of personal statement

Selection Criteria

• Scholarships are awarded throughout the academic year—early application is strongly encouraged.

• Selection will focus on academic excellence and the potential to contribute to the university’s business school community.

Restrictions

• Only students holding an offer to eligible Business School programs will be considered (check official T&Cs for the list of eligible programs).

• The scholarship cannot be combined with certain other Newcastle University scholarships.

Application Process

• Apply for a postgraduate taught course at Newcastle University Business School.

• If eligible, you will be automatically assessed for the scholarship.

• No additional documents are required apart from your regular course application materials.
