SI Scholarship for Global Professionals 2026: Overview
The Swedish Institute (SI) Scholarship for Global Professionals is a prestigious, fully funded master’s scholarship designed to develop future global leaders who will drive sustainable development in their home countries.

Eligibility
To qualify, applicants must:

Be a citizen of one of the 33 eligible countries (listed below).

Apply for a master’s programme that is eligible for the SI Scholarship.

Be liable to pay tuition fees to Swedish universities.

Have proven work experience (minimum requirement depends on region).

Have leadership experience from a current or previous employer or civil society engagement.

Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Belarus, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Egypt, Ethiopia, Georgia, Guatemala, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Kenya, Liberia, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Morocco, Nigeria, Peru, Philippines, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, Thailand, Uganda, Ukraine, Vietnam, Zambia.
📌 You may apply from outside your country of citizenship. However, you must not submit multiple applications using dual citizenship — this will lead to disqualification.
Benefits

- Monthly stipend: SEK 12,000 for living expenses throughout the study period.

Application Process
🧾 Step 1: Apply for up to four eligible master’s programmes via University Admissions Sweden between 16 October 2025 – 15 January 2026.
🧾 Step 2: Check the list of eligible programmes (to be published mid-November 2025).
🧾 Step 3: Apply for the SI Scholarship for Global Professionals between 9 – 25 February 2026 through the Swedish Institute portal.
