Study Geophysics Abroad in Italy – MSc in Exploration & Applied Geophysics | University of Pisa 

Overview

The University of Pisa invites EU and Non-EU applicants to enrol in the Master of Science in Exploration and Applied Geophysics for the 2026/2027 academic year.
This two-year programme, taught entirely in English, prepares students for advanced careers in energy exploration, environmental geophysics, engineering geophysics, and Earth science research.

Eligibility

Applicants must hold a scientific bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification.

📌 Minimum academic requirements:

• 20 ECTS in at least one:

  • Mathematics

  • Physics

  • Chemistry

  • Informatics

• 60 ECTS in:

  • Engineering

  • Physics

  • Geology
