University Corridors for Refugees (UNICORE) 7.0 Scholarship 2025 Overview
The UNICORE 7.0 Scholarship is an initiative by Italian Universities, supported by UNHCR, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Caritas Italiana, and other partners. It provides refugees residing in select countries with opportunities to pursue higher education in Italy.
University Corridors for Refugees (UNICORE) 7.0 Scholarship 2025 Eligibility
- Applicants must be refugees currently residing in Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, or Zimbabwe.
- Must meet the admission requirements of the selected Italian universities.
- Candidates can apply to a maximum of two universities.
- Applications from all qualified candidates are encouraged, regardless of race, gender, disability, or other factors.

- Full tuition fee waiver at participating Italian universities.
- Financial support covering:
- Airfare and visa-related expenses.
- A study grant to support living expenses in Italy.

- Submission of valid academic certificates.
- Compliance with university-specific selection criteria.
- Applications must be free of charge—any request for payment should be reported to UNHCR.
- Fraudulent documents will result in disqualification and potential legal action.
