University of Essex – Africa Postgraduate Scholarship 2025-26 Eligibility

• Must be a national and ordinarily resident of an African Union member state
• Must be self-funded and pay international tuition fees
• Must have completed a relevant undergraduate degree (minimum 2:1 or equivalent)
• Must begin a full-time postgraduate taught program (MA, MSc, LLM, MFA, MPP, MBM) in October 2025 or January 2026
• Ordinary residence must be within Africa for at least 3 years before the course start
• Applicants from certain listed countries with equivalent UK degrees may also qualify
