The University of Ottawa, one of Canada’s top bilingual institutions, is offering two major scholarships for international students enrolling in English-taught undergraduate programs beginning in Winter 2026 and beyond. These scholarships aim to reward academic achievement while significantly reducing tuition costs, with funding opportunities of up to $70,000 across a four-year degree.
University of Ottawa International English Scholarships 2026: Eligibility
Applicants must:

Be an international student with a valid study permit.

Be newly admitted to an eligible English-language undergraduate program (Faculties of Arts, Engineering, Health Sciences, Science, Social Sciences, or Telfer School of Management).

Be enrolled full-time.

Not registered in the French immersion stream.

Meet the academic requirements (see below for specific scholarship criteria).

Canadian citizens with dual nationality are not eligible, as they qualify for domestic tuition rates.
Benefits
1. International English Admission Scholarship

Value: $7,500 per term (up to $60,000 over 4 years)

2. International English Academic Excellence Scholarship
