Job Title: Inventory officer

Responsibilities

• Managing inbound stock and issuance of materials from the store and restocking of items accordingly
• Receive and inspect inbound materials, reconcile with purchase order and check for quality, quantity and damages or discrepancies and report to the Manager
• Ensure that materials received are stored category-wise and stored in the appropriate locations.
• Maintain receipts, accurate inventory records and records of issuance of goods from the stockroom
• Ensure that the store is kept clean and organized and ensure that all materials are properly shelved and
• tagged to ensure they are easily located.
• Partake in periodic and annual stock count Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies
• Perform any other functions requested by the Project Manager and Inventory Coordinator

Academic qualification required:

• University degree or Diploma in a relevant field. The ideal candidate should not be more than 30 years and must be knowledgeable about construction materials. Minimum work experience required is 1-3 years.

Skills Required:

• Computer Literate with proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel Experience with ERP is an added advantage
