Hatfield Lioness Postgraduate Scholarship 2025-2026 Overview

The Hatfield Lioness Scholarship at Durham University supports female students from developing countries where access to higher education is limited. The scholarship aims to empower recipients to gain knowledge and skills and use them to benefit their home country after completing their studies.

Hatfield Lioness Postgraduate Scholarship 2025-2026 Eligibility

Applicants must:

• Be a woman or identify as one.
• Hold an offer for a full-time taught Master’s program at Durham University by June 2025. (Excludes MBA, PhD, and research-based Master’s degrees.)
• Not hold a Master’s degree.
• Not have the financial means to study in the UK.
• Not be in receipt of another scholarship.
• Be a citizen of an eligible developing country (including Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, and others).

Hatfield Lioness Postgraduate Scholarship 2025-2026 Benefits

• Full tuition fee coverage.
• Living stipend.
• Fully funded accommodation at Hatfield College.
• One return economy flight ticket from the home country to the UK.
• Settling-in allowance upon arrival.
• UK visa and health surcharge costs are covered.

Application Process

Stage 1: Apply for a Master’s program at Durham University and mention your intention to apply for the Hatfield Lioness Scholarship.
Stage 2: Submit a separate Hatfield Lioness Scholarship application via email with the following documents:

• Durham University offer letter
• Academic transcript
• References
• English proficiency certificate (IELTS or equivalent)

📅 Deadline: March 31, 2025
📅 Results announced: Mid-June 2025

Additional Information

• No funding for dependents.
• Accommodation is for the scholar only.
• Travel within the UK is not covered.
