The DAAD Study Scholarships for Architecture provide outstanding students with the opportunity to pursue a postgraduate or complementary course in architecture-related fields at a German university. The programme aims to enhance international academic exchange and professional development among architects, urban planners, and landscape designers. It supports master’s degrees or non-degree postgraduate studies and includes funding for language preparation, living expenses, travel, and health insurance.

Fully Funded DAAD Study Scholarships for Postgraduate Architecture Studies in Germany (2025/2026): Eligibility

Applicants must:

• Hold a first university degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Monument Conservation, Urban Planning/Urban Development, Landscape Architecture, or related fields (at the latest by the start of the programme)

• Be applying for a full Master’s degree or a complementary postgraduate course (not an undergraduate programme)

• Not be already enrolled in a Master’s/postgraduate programme in Germany

• Meet ECTS credit point requirements in Design/Projects for their chosen degree (minimum: 45 CP for 120 CP programmes, 34 CP for 90 CP programmes, or 23 CP for 60 CP programmes)

• Demonstrate strong academic and artistic qualifications
