CICOPS Scholarships 2026 Overview

The University of Pavia and EDISU (Institute of the Right to University Studies) are offering 6 scholarships for visiting scholars from Developing Countries under the CICOPS Scholarships 2026. The aim is to foster international cooperation. The scholarship supports a research stay of 4 to 12 weeks at the University of Pavia in Italy.

CICOPS Scholarships 2026 Eligibility

• Applicants must be from Developing Countries.

• Must have at least two years of teaching experience or work experience with international organizations or institutions.

• A letter of invitation from a professor at the University of Pavia is mandatory.

• Incomplete applications will be rejected.

CICOPS Scholarships 2026 Benefits

• Scholarship grant to support a stay of 4 to 12 weeks at the University of Pavia.

• Support in establishing research collaborations and professional exchanges.

• Assistance from the CICOPS office in connecting with a suitable professor if the applicant doesn’t have one.

CICOPS Scholarships 2026 Application Requirements

• Online application form (submit only after receiving the invitation letter).

• Letter of invitation from a contact professor at the University of Pavia.

• Curriculum Vitae (CV).

• If no contact professor is known, request a research proposal form via email from CICOPS and return it along with the CV.

• Congruence between the proposed research and the University of Pavia’s academic interests.

• Relevance and quality of the research proposal.

• Academic and professional background of the applicant.

CICOPS Scholarships 2026 Application Process

1. Contact a professor at the University of Pavia for an invitation letter.

2. If no contact is available, write to cicops@unipv.it to request a research proposal form.

3. Submit the completed research proposal and CV.

4. Once the invitation letter is obtained, fill out the online application form.

5. Ensure all documents are complete before the 31st May 2025 deadline.
