The DAAD EPOS programme offers scholarships to foreign graduates from development and newly industrialized countries with at least two years’ professional experience. It allows them to pursue a Master’s (and in some cases PhD) degree at German state or state-recognized universities, contributing to sustainable development by training local experts.

At least two years of relevant professional experience after completing a Bachelor’s degree.

Academic degrees should not be older than six years at the time of application.

CV (in Europass format, without unexplained gaps).

One letter of motivation (for all courses, maximum three).

Letter of recommendation from current employer (with letterhead, stamp, signature, and current date).

Employment certificates proving at least two years’ experience, and ideally a guarantee of re-employment.

English: IELTS or TOEFL (Institutional TOEFL is not accepted).

German: Proof of minimum B1 level at the time of application (for German-taught courses).

Copies of higher education degree certificates (with certified translations if necessary).

APS Certificate (only for applicants from China).
