• Must have applied to one of the seven eligible postgraduate programs for the 2025/26 academic year.

• Must meet or exceed entry requirements for the chosen program.

• Must be an overseas student for fee-paying purposes.

• Self-funded; not supported by external sponsors or other scholarships.

• Application must be submitted by 30 April 2025 (1st selection) or 8 June 2025 (2nd selection).

• Must have received an offer for the program by 4 May 2025 (1st selection) or 8 June 2025 (2nd selection).

Durham University Inspiring Excellence £10,000 Scholarship Application Process

1. Apply for one of the eligible courses and submit all supporting documents via the postgraduate portal.

2. Receive an offer (conditional or unconditional) for the program by the specified deadlines (4 May for 1st round, 8 June for 2nd round).

3. Complete and submit the scholarship application form by the deadlines:

   • 1st Selection: 30 April 2025

   • 2nd Selection: 8 June 2025

If you don’t receive an academic offer by the 1st round deadline or are unsuccessful in the first round, you will automatically be considered in the second round.
