Fully Funded ECU Higher Degree by Research Scholarships 2025: Overview

Edith Cowan University (ECU), Australia, offers the Higher Degree by Research (HDR) Scholarships to support outstanding postgraduate research students. Fully Funded ECU Higher Degree by Research Scholarships 2025: Eligibility

Applicants must:

• Hold (or have applied for) an offer of admission into a PhD, Integrated PhD, or Master by Research program at ECU.
• Have academic merit and research capability.
• Obtain principal supervisor endorsement for the proposed research project.

Not eligible if:

• You have received an AusAID or Australia Award scholarship in the last two years.
• Your research start date is after 8 May 2026 (PhD) or Semester 1, 2026 (Integrated PhD/Master by Research).
• You are receiving income greater than 75% of the ECU RTP base stipend rate for living costs.

Benefits

• Full tuition fee sponsorship.
• Annual living stipend of $35,000 (paid fortnightly).

• Partial reimbursement of Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for international students.
• Duration:
