Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

• Be currently enrolled as a university student

• Live outside Germany

• Meet the requirements of the TU Berlin Summer School

• Have English proficiency at B2 level (CEFR)

• Have completed at least one year of university study (or equivalent work experience)

Required Application Documents

Applicants must submit one combined PDF file containing:

1. Motivation Letter (1–2 pages)

2. Curriculum Vitae (CV) – maximum 2 pages

3. Official Transcript of Records

4. Recommendation Letter from a professor (recommended but optional)

Note: Unsigned recommendation letters will not be accepted.

Application Process

1. Register through the TU Berlin Summer School online portal.

2. Select the on-campus course you wish to attend.

3. Complete all application steps without paying the €60 registration fee.

4. Upload the combined PDF application in the “Documents” section of the portal.

• Upload one PDF containing all required documents

• Maximum file size: 5 MB

• File name format example:
  LASTNAME_FIRSTNAME_Scholarship.pdf

Applicants receive a confirmation email within 48 hours after submission.

Applications submitted after this time will not be considered.
