Industrial PhD Scholarships 2025 – Danish Diabetes and Endocrine Academy (DDEA) Overview

The Danish Diabetes and Endocrine Academy (DDEA) is offering up to three 2/3-financed Industrial PhD Scholarships, each valued at 1,100,000 DKK, to support salary and tuition fees for two years during a three-year PhD program. The scholarship is open to projects in the fields of diabetes, metabolism, or endocrinology, and requires collaboration between the academic partner and the life-science industry.

Industrial PhD Scholarships 2025 – Danish Diabetes and Endocrine Academy (DDEA) Eligibility

• Applicants must be PhD candidates with a Master’s degree from a Danish university or an equivalent degree from a foreign university (approved by the Danish Agency for Science and Higher Education).

• Applicants must not be enrolled as a PhD student at the time of receiving the grant notification (26 November 2025).

• The principal supervisor must be an associate professor or professor at the Danish university where the applicant applies for enrollment, but a co-supervisor from the life-science industry may be involved.
