Job Summary:
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our solar energy business through strategic planning, market research, and effective sales strategies. Your primary focus will be on expanding our customer base and forging strong partnerships in the renewable energy sector. You will play a crucial role in promoting our solar products and services while contributing to the company’s mission of sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company sales targets and objectives.
- Identify new market opportunities and potential clients within the renewable energy sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including solar energy suppliers, contractors, and government agencies.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Create compelling sales presentations and proposals to showcase the benefits of our solar products and services.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective campaigns and promotional materials.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance the company’s visibility and generate leads.
- Lead negotiations with potential clients and close sales deals to achieve revenue targets.
- Provide regular sales reports and updates to the management team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2 – 3 years’ prior industry related business development experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
- Focused and goal-oriented
