Key Responsibilities

* Review and analyze loan applications (salary & SME)
* Assess creditworthiness using financials, bank statements, and credit reports
* Identify risks and apply internal scoring models
* Structure loans (tenor, pricing, repayment terms) based on risk profile
* Recommend approvals, declines, or modifications
* Ensure compliance with credit policies and documentation standards
* Collaborate with Sales and Collections to improve portfolio quality

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

* Approval turnaround time (TAT)
* Portfolio quality (default/NPL rate)
* Early delinquency rate
* Compliance and documentation accuracy

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
* 2–5+ years experience in credit underwriting or risk analysis (salary & SME lending preferred)
* Strong financial analysis and credit assessment skills
* Good knowledge of lending regulations and credit policies
* Proficiency in Excel and financial tools
* Professional certifications (ACA, ACCA, CFA) are an advantage
* Experience with credit scoring systems or loan platforms
