Product Owner
The FinTech team at Complete Farmer is building a payment platform to be used by Buyers, Growers and all Agents on the Agritech business. The Product Owner will work together with the Product Development team to build and launch an innovative and user friendly platform. We are recruiting a Product Owner to possess and implement a mandate over the build and development of the payment product. The paramount task is to ensure the product vision, strategy and objectives and clearly understood and implemented in understandable, concise and measurable parts. Satisfaction in this role would be apparent in successful implementation of the product to the end user, starting with the internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Leading the product development process
- Working with the Product Designer to define product features with consumer-centric use cases
- Working with the Business Analyst to assign, manage and prioritise product backlog items
- Assisting the product development team to achieve goals during sprints
- Review of all product iterations, for adjustment and improvement in following sprints
- Report to Product Director and Senior Product Manager on progress made during development
- Recommendation of improvements to product iterations
- Consistent testing and conversance with the product phases
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science or related field
- Previous work experience as a Product Owner, Manager or Business Analyst
- Research and data analytics for insights reporting
- Knowledge and expertise on agile (SCRUM) methodologies
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred skills
- Interest in cross team communication
- Ability to multi task on a project
