Description

Job Title: Social Media and Content Support

We’re looking for a highly organised Virtual Assistant (VA) to support our marketing team by executing SEO tasks, managing social media, and handling content uploads & distribution across multiple brands (WBAM, CMS & TMT).

While the marketing team sets the strategy and creates content, you will be responsible for efficiently uploading, scheduling, and optimising content across platforms while ensuring everything follows best practices.

This is a role for someone detail-oriented, proactive, and structured, who thrives on execution rather than strategy and enjoys ensuring content is published flawlessly and on time. An interest in AI and automation tools is a plus, as we continuously explore ways to streamline and improve our marketing processes.

Key Responsibilities

SEO & Website Content Execution (WordPress + Surfer SEO)

  • Upload & format blog content using WordPress (Elementor)
  • Optimise blog uploads using Yoast SEO & Rank Math (meta titles, descriptions, internal linking)
  • Implement Surfer SEO recommendations (keyword usage, content structure)
  • Manage internal linking strategy & URL structures
  • Submit new & updated pages for indexing via Google Search Console
  •  Monitor Google Analytics & Search Console for performance trends

Social Media Management & Scheduling

  • Schedule and publish social media posts using HubSpot & Meta Business Suite
  • Ensure all posts follow branding and best practices
  • intain a content calendar and ensure everything goes live on time
  • Monitor engagement trends and flag key insights
  • Assist with basic post descriptions and captions when needed

YouTube SEO & Video Optimization

  • Upload videos to YouTube Studio and optimise with TubeBuddy
  • Update titles, descriptions, tags, and metadata to boost visibility
  • Add timestamps (chapters) & end screens for viewer engagement
  • Monitor YouTube Analytics and report on performance

Community Engagement & Comment Management

  • Monitor and respond to social media & YouTube comments
  • Engage with followers to maintain brand presence
  • Escalate important comments or issues to the marketing team
  •  Ensure brand tone and consistency in engagement

Content Organization & Workflow Support

  • Maintain an organised content asset database in Google Drive
  • Tag, categorise, and archive images, videos, and graphics for easy retrieval
  • Assist in repurposing content across multiple platforms

Blog, Newsletter & Auction Content Support (CMS)

  • Format and schedule blogs, newsletters, and auction reminder emails
  •  Ensure all email templates are updated and formatted correctly
  • Coordinate with the operations team to automate blog distribution

Requirements

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with WordPress (Elementor, Yoast, Rank Math)
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices (but no content writing required)
  • Familiarity with Surfer SEO, Google Search Console & Google Analytics
  • Social media scheduling experience (HubSpot, Meta Business Suite)
  • Basic YouTube SEO knowledge (TubeBuddy, metadata optimization)
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring error-free uploads
  • Ability to follow brand tone & messaging guidelines
  • Highly organised and efficient in handling repetitive tasks
  • Experience with Google Drive & content asset management
  •  Interest in AI tools & automation for marketing workflows
  • Willingness to learn new digital marketing techniques
