Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Java) to join one of our backend teams. This is a fully remote position offering you the opportunity to shape impactful financial solutions. You will be responsible for writing high-quality code, modernizing services, and collaborating across teams to deliver exceptional products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient backend systems.
• Write clean, high-quality code to create new features, fix bugs, and modernize existing services.
• Uphold a strong commitment to code quality and automated testing practices.
• Take ownership of challenges, designing and delivering robust solutions.
• Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams to resolve production incidents and improve system reliability.
• Assist in release management activities during the development cycle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development, primarily with Java.
• Expertise in Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful API development.
• Experience with microservices architecture and cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Proficiency in database design and optimization, particularly with MySQL.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization tools like Docker/Kubernetes, and version control systems such as Git.
• Prior experience in FinTech or financial services is a plus but not required.
