As a Website Design Specialist, you’ll design and create captivating digital ad designs and websites and assist with the smooth operation, maintenance, and optimization of our clients’ websites. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Content Creators, and SEO Strategists, to deliver high-quality designs and website experiences for our clients and their customers.

Hyport Digital, a leader in digital advertising and marketing services, is seeking a full-time, remote Website Design Specialist to assist with digital design creation and website operation, maintenance, and optimizations for clients. Hyport Digital helps businesses of all sizes grow their online presence and improve conversions through tailored digital marketing strategies. Interviews for this opening will be conducted over the phone and via video calls. As a reminder, this role will be fully remote. The starting salary for this position is $57,300 annually.

In a Typical Day, You’ll:

Create and design digital assets for various digital channels and ad products, such as websites, landing pages, and emails, within established timelines.
Ensure all designs are on brand and aligned with the company’s visual identity and guidelines.
Regularly update website content, images, and other assets to ensure accuracy, relevance, compliance with product strategies, and client expectations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful completion of projects and deliverables.
Address website issues such as broken links, slow loading times, mobile responsiveness, or compatibility problems.

To Land This Gig, You Need:

Proven experience and success with website administration, website development, website design, digital ad design, or similar skills.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator).
Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices to optimize website content and structure.
An understanding of the evolving work of graphic design and website building, including the ins and outs of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX).
Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, etc.
Particular experience with WordPress (WPBakery and / or Elementor page builders).
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot website issues and come up with effective solutions.
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams.
Strong time-management and organizational skills.
The ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and adapt to changing priorities.
The ability to self-manage.
Positive energy and a positive attitude.

It’s Not Required, But We’d Love It If You Also Have:

A strong understanding of web technologies, HTML, CSS, and web development processes.
Familiarity with website analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to monitor and analyze website performance.
A strong understanding of hosting, domains, and FTP.
Familiarity with website security measures and protocols.
Experience using website analytics and testing tools such as PageSpeed Insights, Semrush, Moz, and SERanking.
